14U FOOTBALL, CHEERLEADING & MAJORETTE DANCE
We are excited to expand our program this year to include 14 & Under Football, along with Cheerleading and Majorette Dance (ages 13–16)!
This expansion allows us to provide homeschool student-athletes with a true high school experience, including weeknight and Saturday games, both home and away. Our goal is to create an environment where every participant feels challenged, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
As coaches, our primary focus is what we call FUNdamentals—building strong foundational skills while making the experience enjoyable and rewarding. We are committed to working with each athlete to develop their abilities, confidence, and love for the game.
This program is also open to public and private school students who may not currently have access to an athletic program.
Just because you’re homeschooled—or attend a school without sports—doesn’t mean you should miss out on being part of a team.
Here, you’re not just joining a program…
you’re joining a family.

Born and raised here in Savannah, Georgia, Ammon “Coach C.” Crawford is the proud father of two outstanding children (Elizabeth A. Crawford and Ammon J. Crawford). He is an alumni of Alfred Ely Beach High School, Class of 1994. There he was a member of the marching ”Bulldogs” band, voted Most Likely to Succeed, a Senior Executive and many other awards and accolades. Upon graduating from high school, he chose to further his education at Georgia Southern University, where he studied Electrical Engineering Technology and Music. After school Ammon returned home where he began a short career with the Chatham County Board of Education. Thereafter, a different career path was chosen in management, where he experienced working throughout the country for different Fortune 500 Companies. He currently owns AC’s Custom Creations & Designs. Additionally, he is the President and founder of The Southwest Georgetown Youth Organization Inc.

After pursuing his journey in management, he chose to return home. While home for a few months he was looking for a way to give back to his community. After pursuing his journey in management, he chose to return home. While home for a few months he was looking for a way to give back to his community. He’s always had a passion for children and a love for sports, which started his almost 15 year journey in mentoring and coaching. He researched and visited a few of the local teams here in the city and decided to start his coaching career with The Liberty City Vikings, as an assistant coach with the 6 & Under team. In his second year Ammon became the head coach and the year after was promoted to head coach of the 8 & Under team. During his time with the Vikings a larger dream began to form. This dream first became a reality when he Co-founded The Savannah Eagles Youth Organization in 2013. Although, his stent with the Savannah Eagles was brief, however it was very impactful.

Residing in the Georgetown area for a number of years, Ammon noticed the community didn’t have any youth programs or services for our children. Residing in the Georgetown area for a number of years, Ammon noticed the community didn’t have any youth programs or services for our children. He saw that need, researched and founded The Southwest Georgetown Youth Organization Inc., in 2014. Under this organization several doors have been opened for him through volunteering in many schools, implemented Tutoring, Mentoring, Big Brother & Sister Program and offers in season youth sports. In the last few year's, he’s been a huge advocate for Homeschool students. With a new passion developing, he organized a “Back to Homeschool Expo”, which currently offers a physical education class. Additionally, The Southwest Georgetown Youth Organization Inc. now offers 8-Man Varsity Football, Varsity Basketball and Cheerleading for homeschool students and those who attend public or private schools who don’t offer those activities.
Ammon was one of the first members of The United Youth Leaders of Savannah, which consisted of presidents and founders of 9 youth programs. As a member he organized many events for the city of Savannah and Chatham County’s youth and coaches. He was part of the committee that helped the Chatham County Recreation Department reorganize their youth football and basketball leagues. Furthermore, he facilitated the acquisitions of football helmets for the Chatham County Football League in 2018, whereas those helmets are still in use today. Currently, he is the President of the newly reformed Coalition of Savannah Youth Leaders. He’s worked with this group to present a proposal to the City of Savannah for support and funding. He’s proud to say that history was made as the first organization to receive that much needed support for our youth. Ammon thanks and greatly appreciates all previous and present organizations for the opportunities to gain volunteering and coaching knowledge, he now has.
